Who We Are
Highly qualified and motivated professionals
Freydis Reenactment Shop began its journey in April 2026, but the heart behind it has been working much longer. Our founder spent years as a professional seamstress in a UK theme park, creating and repairing costumes worn by performers every single day. Precision, durability, and authenticity weren’t optional — they were essential. That experience shaped everything we do now.
For the past six years, she has been crafting Viking dresses, kirtles, apron dresses, tunics and trousers for our reenactment group, Óðinn Born. Every stitch, every seam, every garment has been tested in real events, real weather, real battles, and real living‑history displays. Nothing leaves our workshop unless it’s something we would proudly wear ourselves.
What began as clothing for our own group grew into something bigger. Visitors at events asked where our outfits came from. New reenactors asked for help building their kit. People wanted clothing that was authentic, comfortable, handmade, and affordable — not mass‑produced costume pieces.
So we opened Freydis Reenactment Shop.
Today, we offer linen and wool Viking clothing, handmade with care, inspired by archaeological finds and Norse tradition. We also provide LARP gear, accessories, armour, and bundles to help new and experienced reenactors build their kit easily and confidently.
